Hi Folks: The passenger side universal steering rack boot has ripped and I'm looking for a replacement. It happens the mounting bracket position put the boot too close to the 3X4 upright on the chassis so the boot, after a certain amount of working, was mounted too close to the upright and ripped during operation. I never saw this during assembly so any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

Check with MOOG for a replacement boot you will need a longer boot if it is a power steering rack I’m not sure if I still have the part number but I can check if you need it

I had the same issue with the boot rubbing so I installed a spacer/washer between the back of the rack and pinion and the frame mount
