Anybody tried putting the weatherstrip on the door instead of in the jam as called out for in instructions? thought it might look cleaner.

Now that I look closer in the manual it looks like they have the 1/2 moon on both the door and in jam? Cant find anywhere where they actually tell you to put that on the door. How has everyone else done it?

I just used Steel universal d shaped with 3m backing tape on the body. I think it looks better than the stuff supplied.
