Not really crazy about the pivoting of the Wilwood Gas Pedal. Specifically the pad, the part you put your foot on. Has anyone done a mod to their gas pedal so it is fixed and does not pivot?

If you're talking about the one provided with the kit, it's a simple fix. Drill through the pivot point and insert a small bolt to lock the pedal in position. I always had a hard time getting a good feel with the floppy pedal. Once I bolted it, I could use the tip of my toe and know exactly what to expect as far as throttle response. My new car has the Russ Thompson pedal. A vastly different feel.

Exactly! Was just wondering if anyone else had worked a successful fix. Now to get that assembly out of a completed car so I can drill out and bolt together. Thanks!

I ditched the FFR pedal and went with aftermarket for 2 reasons. 1) pedal felt awkward and 2) did not match the other pedals.
I remember the install VERY well. upside down, feet up in the air, only one arm able to fit into the footwell.

dpariso. Looking at your last photo, it shows the exact same clearance issue I have found. The pedal, as it proceeds forward gets very close to the foot box wall. I'm using the mechanical linkage, so I may machine up a new block that offsets the pedal further to the left away from the carpet. Until I saw your photo, it hadn't occurred to me how easy it would be to make the pedal work better. Thank You for posting the photos.

Go with the Russ Thompson pedal. I modified his but same concept.
This is an early photo so not sure I have it adjusted yet. I also went with my own mechanical linkage. Makes a world of difference and infinitely adjustable.
