I seem to remember reading somewhere on here that somebody (one of the vendors maybe) had an electrically controlled valve for the heater, instead of using the cable actuated valve that comes with the kit. Anybody got one and can you point me in the direction of where to get it? Thanks!

Vintage Air 50507-VUA. Available from all the usual suspects (Summit, Jegs, etc).

If you are looking for a heater control valve that works with a Coyote engine I can highly recommend this Old Air Products unit sold by Amazon. Electronic Bypass Heater Valve #50-1555 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LEUV98M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_z.eQEbGYBA9B4
Coyote engines require constant circulation of coolant through the heater supply and return hoses. The Vintage Air unit referenced by others is a shut off valve which does not meet this requirement. The Old Air Products unit assures a constant flow of coolant through the supply and return hoses while providing fine control of how much goes through the heater control. In my experience when at its lowest setting the heater air never warms up, while it gets proportionately warmer when I dial it up. I’m completely satisfied.

I really like your setup. I’ve got the Summit heater, but no valve yet. This will be the valve I get if I keep the heater. I’m actually thinking of ditching the heater for just heated seats.
How does the valve mount to the top of the footbox? Also, do you have part numbers for the hoses with the 90 degree bends? I had one of those cheap plastic elbows bust on my last year. What a mess!
I also like how you pushed the heater box forward. Nice job.

Once I get caught up on a few other things I'm planing to do a full description of how I handled the heater instalation with a Coyote in a MK4 while still making room for a full size glove box. For now I'll answer your specific questions.
I mounted the valve to the top of the foot box using cable tie mounts from McMaster-Carr, part # 7566K13 and small zip ties around two diagonally opposed hoses. Regarding the hoses I used 4' long ones that reach from the valve to the heater hose supply and return ports on the engine. Those are Gates 28472 Hose from Amazon and 12" hoses to go from the valve to the heater core; Gates 28467. All of those hoses have the bend manufacturerd in seamlessly, very high quality.
