Considering air conditioning(Texas)in my roadster build with the Gen 3 Coyote. Anyone have a similar set up and willing to share the components used? Thanks!
Richard Oben - North Race Cars - sells a kit complete minus you supply the coyote AC compressor (and source the fitting to connect hoses to it)
Don't expect much at all without a top from any version - too small a fan / evaporator and too much wind. I have a top but not yet used it. The AC blows cold air and helps when stopped with no top. Likely the sun will run you out of the car before the hot air does...….
I am a gen 1 but don't think any difference.
FYI - can't use the shorty headers mounted reversed - they hit the compressor. Must use the 4 into 1 headers

oh - and room behind the dash is TIGHT
No clue how much a firewall fwd kit helps but wish I had looked into that at the time.
I did not install defrost vents, possible but tough.

I have all the AC/HEAT parts from a 2017 Mustang GT. Shoudl be the same as newer gen 3 coyote if you are interested. No idea how easy to make it all fit

This is not nearly a complete answer. But may be a resource for you. As you probably know, Factory Five doesn't sell an A/C-Heat setup for the Roadster. But they do for the Gen 3 Coupe and is the newest kit they offer. Not saying the evaporator would fit in a Roadster. In fact I suspect it wouldn't. But their instructions show all the components plus a wiring diagram that might be applicable. The last two pages in these instructions: https://www.factoryfive.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/AC-HEATER-DEFROSTER-COUPE-Gen-3.pdf. The compressor they supply in this kit is a Ford part number CR33-19497-BA. Brand: Zexel. Type: DKS-17DS. Listed for 05-14 Mustang 5.0 V8. It directly bolts to the A/C mounts on the Gen 3 Coyote. Been there done that. Don't know if later versions would as well. But can confirm this one works.

I really like having it on mine and can't see where the RF harness alone would fit otherwise without a few headaches. A great purchase and worth every penny.

Paul Is correct. If you order a coupe Gen 3 AC kit it will work in a roadster. I recently completed two roadsters with A/C. One was a 347, the other was coyote. One was shipped to Austin, the other to LAs Vegas. The evaporate mounts on top of the passenger footwell. You could also mount it in the passengers footwell...…. but then there in no room for passengers legs or feet. The Compressor mounts in the stock location, the coupe A/C Condenser works in front of the radiator.
I could share a mixed bag of picture if you would like to PM me your phone number I can text them to you.
