Installing Seats Question.

Hello All,
Here is my question-where do you locate and mount the seats?
In my photos I have measured the distance between the lap belt mounts. The white line is the middle between the two lap mounts.
In my second photo, I have my seat sitting on top of that white line. The black line on my seat is the middle of the seat.
Do you mount the seat exactly in the middle or is it offset a little to the outside of the car??
Any help and input would be great. Thank you

I wouldn't try to mount the seats until you have the body back on and can see how they fit with the body. The passenger side is typically the issue where the seat and body want to occupy the same space. Remember, nearly NOTHING on these cars is symmetrical. I also recommend the Breeze seat mounts if you haven't considered them yet.

As Dave said, don't try mounting the seats unless you have the body installed. Also, the seats parallel the transmission tunnel.

So the seats are running parallel with the trans tunnel-that means they are on a slight angle? pointing outwards....
