I have an adjustable height pivot ball for my bell-housing. Can't find my old notes. In the Tremec bell-housing what is the height of the top of the ball from the bell-housing surface?

Engine is a Gen 1 Coyote with a TKO-600 5 speed transmission. Bell-housing casting ID is TCCM 1899.

Non Coyote, but I've always had to carefully test fit all that.

Many variables, to include:

-Distance from block face to clutch fork ball.

-Thickness of clutch (actual).

-Pressure plate fork height (as installed).

-Shape of clutch fork (precise).

-Height of throwout bearing as installed.

There are certainly other variables I missed (flywheel actual thickness for one).

It sounds like you have the Ford aluminum bell housing. That is what I am going to base my reply on. I have the same set up, with M-7560-T46 clutch assembly.

I put a 1.5" pivot bolt in per instructions, I received. With the clutch fully depressed the fork was hitting the pressure plate before full release.

I had to slide the trans back, while in the car to change out the pivot bolt. I put a 2" bolt in and all is well.
If you still have engine/trans out of the car, you should be able to put a large adjustable wrench on the end of the fork and check the travel.

Good luck,
