I am a police officer & gear head like my Grandpa was before me.
Always been a Corvette & Harley guy but that Cobra was always a distant dream much like my vette & my Harley were. It’s time to live another dream so my wife & I are looking to build an MK4 next year for our 26th Anniversary. I have built a Harley, a Jeep from the ground up & had many hot rod projects over the years. Two kids later & now two nephews to raise & a granddaughter on the way we have a crew to help us.
I’m planning on retiring in about 8 years so I really want to get started on my...I mean our next toy.
I just love Factory fives philosophy & so far their business practices etc. solar powered facility is really awesome & build videos on YouTube are major confidence builders for potential builders such as my Wife & I.
The build school is something we both plan on attending soon together. I’m Just really excited to be planning another project but this time she’s going to be turning wrenches with me.
We had a 30 day vacation planned to kick off a week before the Ronna raised her ugly head & ruined a lot for the whole country. We planned on visiting among a lot of other places the Factory five facilities. Seeing Dave live each day is really cool giving us virtual tours etc is classy. Ok this is a lot bigger post than I planned so I’m gonna go. Hope to text & meet a lot of you guys & gals during our builds & rides. Thanks & B safe.

Welcome GUARDDOGG and thanks for your service. I'm about 3 years into my Mk4 build in a single car garage. I had to sell my '72 Corvette and '94 Harley FXR to make room for my build. On the build school you won't be sorry, I went in July of '16. I've been retired for over 15 years (early) and this build is keeping me busy.

Welcome Aboard & Thank You For Your Service!

Consider getting the manual and reading it a time or two before going to the build school and you will be well prepared.
Until then, consider watching these video link below that Factory Five published quite a few you years ago:

Welcome GuardDog. I'm in the Ofallon area. There are several of us from the Gateway Cobra club in the St. Charles county area. If you want to come look at a car sometime Feel free to PM me. The body is currently in the paint shop. But have the chassis at the house for a few more weeks. Then it goes back to get the body back on. Like Paul said look us up.
