I got the cobra heat pads and am wiring them in- they come with a red wire loop that looks like it has a fuse in it but no directions on how to install . Does anyone have advice on that one? Seems sorta extra...

Cut the wire and insert connect it in the power line. It’s a fuse for the heater. They just make it a loop for ease of manufacturing, I would imagine. My seat heaters are on a 20 amp circuit, so I did not use these.

Can you point me to a website for your seat heaters?

Cobraheat.com. I’d recommend the waterproof units. I’ve soaked mine more than once. Never any issues.
