First off thanks for great replies on my last post, hood figment, I had panicked for excessive gap before trimming and as all had said, start making it fit and you’ll see it closes up as it sits, Great thx. Now as I am adjusting doors, I heard from most, Jeff, EdwardB,etc..that the rocker in driver side needs pull out as much as possible at rear and in at front for descent door alignment. That is totally right.just wondering best ways of anchoring bottom of rockers...rivets? Slots made with bolts, etc? what is the best way for possible easy adjustment after painting and body on. Thanks in advance...

I push the front in and stake it down with a #14 X 1 1/2” hex head self tapper and thick fender washer. In the back I cut a slot and use the same screw and washer combination. You’ll probably find that you need one or two 1/8” shims between the body and chassis at the rear. Once the body is installed and adjusted for the final time after paint I leave the screws in place then add a 3/16” large head exploder rivet beside them to lock it all down.

As usual Jeff to the rescue....thanks i will do exactly that, i thought you would have got fancy with some rivenuts and slots to adjust , but I guess once in place no need to play there anymore. Thank You as stay safe.

I use #12X1.5.....But Mr. "Over the top" uses #14 then I guess 2 more is better. BTW. I have a vintage Marshall amp that goes to 12 (they say it once belonged to the band "Bleeding from the Ears") so they say.
