Seems Treadstone has a 3-4 week back order on these, anyone know of other options? This is for Gen3 Coyote.
Thanks,
Brad

I'm looking for the same thing. FF has had mine on back order for almost a year. I can't seem to find a solution other than to convert the entire cold air intake system and ditch all the FF supplied parts. What is your application? Mine is Gen 2 Coyote.

Gen 2 and Gen 3 can use the same parts. Technically, the OE parts are slightly different. The Gen 2 has a 3.5" diameter MAF tube. The Gen 3 has a 4.0" diameter MAF tube. But in both cases go to the same size throttle body inlet (3.5"). And both use the same exact MAF sensor. I have the Spectre parts in my Gen 2 with the 3.5" adapter in the MAF tube. I have the Treadstone parts on my Gen 3 which is 3.5" all the way through. When I had my Gen 3 custom tuned, I asked the tuner (Lund Racing) if the 3.5" MAF tube was a limiter for my Gen 3. Answer: Without any power boosters (it's basically stock) no penalty since it has the open Treadstone performance air filter. Just have to calibrate the MAF sensor to that size tube. Since custom tuning is basically required for the Gen 3, in my experience and others, you could use either. Or the MRP one as well.

Thanks for the input, I read your Gen3 post where you discussed this topic. Given the FF Coyote install kit came with 3.5 elbow and air filter I decided to just stick with that instead of re-buying parts. Seems like the PeformanceMRP part should do the job given the Treadstone one is so far back ordered. Do you recommend the honeycomb in the adapter?

I've installed the honeycomb air straightener screens in both of my Coyote builds. Supposedly they help the MAF sensor get a better more stable signal. Can't say I've noticed any huge difference, but also haven't done extensive testing with and without. Can't hurt. I'm not aware of any downside.

That's good to know Paul - I was thinking about installing one in mine since I have a few bends in mine :) - turns out it was just a lean condition in the MAF curve at idle (20%+) - fixing that fixed my issue so the straightener is sitting on the bench - anyway - back to teleworking :)

Good deal, just ordered with the screen. Thanks for all you contribute to the community!

Too long. Compare that to the Spectre parts from the Factory Five instructions shown here in my #8674 build. Which are right against the F-panel and other chassis components. Treadstone parts are very similar. You're going to want to stick with what's been tried and tested.

Got the Performance MRP housing today, very nice part. Highly recommend! With the Treadstone so far backordered, this shipped out the day after order and is made in the US/family business.
