I've seen others with a T piece for their heater hose adapter that will accept a temp gauge sender.
Another user mentioned that Breeze had something, but I can't seem to find it on their site anymore. I've tried googling but not sure what terms to use. specifically, i'm looking for a T piece with a 1/2" NPT male thread at one end, a 5/8" barb for heater hose, and a 3/8" NPT for temp gauge sender.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I used the Breeze # 70540 ECT Sensor Elbow Kit for 5/8" Heater Hose (connects intake manifold to reverse rotation water
pump with port for ECT sensor) back in August. I think it may be what you are thinking of, bit I don't see it on his site either.
Give Mark a call, he will know for sure!

I think I read somewhere that Mark had stopped carrying the adapter. Here is a street T I found on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Newmatics-Street-Female-Extruded-Machined/dp/B07K296ZCP
Get one those and one of these https://www.amazon.com/EDGE-INDUSTRIAL-Straight-Brass-Fitting/dp/B07CPKT96G/ref=sr_1_25?dchild=1&keywords=1%2F2+not+to+hose+barb&qid=1587396261&sr=8-25&swrs=01E8BE1891CB73F5B8A794045E08DB4C and build your own.

PS I think I found that setup too bulky and went with a 3/8 street T and a reducer to the manifold port. I think you have a reducer already that came with your Fitech temperature sensor.

I called mark and he's not carrying the adapters any more. his vendor's prices went up and he didn't think enough people were interested. i'm going to buy a new thermostat housing w/ a NPT port instead. Dorman 902-1001 for only $6 shipped on amazon.

This is what I did too.
However, I bought the Dorman part and it is worth exactly $6, maybe a little less. It was poorly made cast zinc and the mating surfaces were crap.
This is the second one that I bought. Much nicer unit.

You will then need a 3/8" NPT to 5/8" hose barb adapter to connect the heater hose.
