I'm trying to install the Vintage Gauge set water temp sensor in my Gen 2 Coyote and it appears that Factory Five has sent me the wrong adapter. Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone confirm what the specifications for the correct adapter that goes into the engine block should be?
I'll contact FF on this but want to make sure I can give them as much correct info as possible.
Here is a photo to help illustrate my issue. I hope the photo imports with the correct orientation. I've had trouble with this in the past.

Thank you for any assistance,

That looks exactly like the adapter's I used but I have the Gen 3 so it could be different. I broke the temp sensor off in one of the adapters trying to tighten and had to re-order it from speedhut so be careful it's really flimsy. If you can't get the correct adapter your from FF because they're closed you can buy them at any plumbing supply store.

Oh in re-looking at your picture I didn't see that your sensor adapter doesn't fit in the engine block adapter. Just go to a local plumbing supply with what you have and they should be able to get you the right adapter for less the a couple bucks.

Had similar issues with a Gen I. Got the parts at Home Depot. ACE hardware also has them.

As the guys above said, available at hardware and maybe parts stores.
I would shoot for 1 adapter if you can. You could even buy a plug and the correct tap. You want the probe in the water jacket for the best accuracy and fewer joints to leak. Not that it wouldn't be accurate enough. I just never like stacking any kind of bushing, adapter, or connector.
They are brass, and that sensor is small, so are not gorilla-proof.

Also had the same problem. Also got the right part at my local big box store. Gen 2 and Gen 3 are the same thread size in the block.

Thanks for the warning. I thought about plumbing supply. I might just try that route first. I know FF may be in jam right now with the shutdowns and all.
