How's that for a some comparable competition? Looks just like some of the design submissions we saw.

Ok.. so its not in the same class really. YET.

And man, that interior is nice, simple, elegant, clean... nudge nudge... wink wink.

While there are some interesting features, there is a lot not to love about this design. While I'm sure it is mechanically excellent, I expect better out of Gordon Murray design-wise. Not a fan of the headlights, for example.

I call BS... It can't possibly be a Gordon Murray design.. The driver isn't in the middle! :D I agree though, seems to have too much "junk in the trunk" so to speak. As is often the case, a little more up front in the area of the headlights could help compensate for the... ahem... ample booty :) Just my $0.02 though. It's always good to hear about new sports-oriented EV's though... Maybe someday a company will actually produce one I can afford :D

If the head rest were removed,it would pretty good from the centerline of the front wheels on back..

Not my idea of a good looking car. It has a common issue I see in a lot of current car styling. The wheel arches look like an afterthought. They don't match up with the body lines and have no treatments to indicate that they are there on purpose. Instead, it looks like the designer completed the body and then said "Oops! Forgot to put in the wheel arches!" and then just cut them out with a compass and saws-all. From what I've seen of the 818 so far, I think it will look much better.
