OK. The body and parts are sanded and ready. The temps are warming and my paint booth is still 'en route'.
My question is:
Should I wash the car, dry it then tack prior to priming?
Looking on the SRP forum, I read yes to wash with water, no to wash with water (moisture retention), yes to grease cleaner, no to grease cleaner but yes to All Prep Body Wash. Then tack. Yes to 'just blow it off and then tack then prime.
Confused.

I used pre-paint cleaner. Pretty much between every step. I would not wash it. Who knows what residue that would leave.
You did do a scrubdown before sanding, correct? Your bodywork, (filler, panel gaps, panel flow), is all finished?

If you are the only one touching it,,,if you haven't used any WD40 or other oils around it while you have been working on it then Blow, Tack and spray. If you are suspect of contamination then you need to "wax&grease "remover it. You can wash it with water and a little unscented dish soap but you'll want to wait overnight to dry. You want to be able to maintain at least 4hrs at 70*, 2 hrs at 80* and or 1hr at 90 when you prime...da bat

I am the only one touching it. I don't let anyone else touch it which is easy to do in these times.
