I need to repair, and paint one of my 17 inch Vintage Halibrand Replica Wheels, that came with my Mk4 kit.
Asked FFR for the color code, they say they donˋt have a color code?
Thatˋs the reason I ask you; anyone who can give me the grey color code?
Thank You!

I have the Team3 wheels, and Rustoleum 7519 stainless steel is a match.
Your FFR wheels are a counterfeit Team3 wheel, so they might have copied the color as well.
Not sure if it's just a difference between the 17" and 18" or if there is wider variability, but the color of those two examples I purchased were completely different. You may be able to contact the manufacturer to get more details if you can find out who is making them for FFR.

There is not a color code for the FFR Wheels. As an example, my good friend and I both built early MK4. Delivery within 6 months of one another. His are light gray and mine are much darker. Not even close in color. Your best bet is to take them in to a paint shop and have your wheels color matched.
Never mind contacting the manufacturer. These are made in China and sold through Wheels Replica last I checked. Factory Five has used many different manufacturers. In the early days they were actually sourced here in the United States.

Thanks. I have asked FFR for help a couple of times, but I get the same answer, no color code. Thanks for answer!

I'd ask specifically for the manufacturer's contact information.

FFR owns the molds and tooling and has them produced overseas. The color is not consistent (which is probably why they are reluctant to give an exact color code) and for a while when they first began having them produced around 2011 there was an issue with the color of the lug colors not matching the wheel centers. All that said your best bet is to have your paint supplier do a color match.
