Since getting a state inspection, vin and running a paper tag, I sorta got my computer/engine tune.
My last data log, I still had a hard bucking at light throttle cruise. On the second 2500 to 6000 rpm run the engine quit. It restarted and ran fine, to the gas station and home. The tuner told me both conditions were due to my MAF sensor being too close to the throttle body. I think my set up has the distance about 8 inches.

My new set up has a 90* tube then the MAF tube, then filter.

The last picture is before the filter got installed. I got it all tightened up and started the engine with no issues. I could not drive it today, due to the rain and maybe observing no travel ban.
While waiting on the weather to clear, I started replacing the F5 unvented reservoirs. I got a 3 chamber one from J Max or something like that. My alum mount will not work, so waiting on a new one from my brother.
I put the roadster on the lift to do a check after the first 100 miles. No leaks, at least not dripping. I think my power steering reservoir, pushed a little out the vent and the line out the bottom was moist.
All the bolts and torque markings in place and still tight. Coil over spring adjusters still on the mark.
I did check the trans lube, no leaks, but was getting a grind in down shifting from 5th to 4th. This occurred more than once. All the other shifts up and down smooth as silk.
Lube level might have been a smidge low. I added what I had left of a bottle and it brought it up just shy of running out of the fill hole.
After I get the new reservoirs on, I need to figure out which way my brake bias adjuster turns to move the bias. They sent 2 labels for either direction. I forgot to get it done before covering up the master cylinders. Maybe I can remove the cover and see which direction does what.
Really loving the way the car turns in and holds the line.
Tuner told me, all the parameters he data logged look real good. Said, the engine was adding timing during the acceleration runs, which shows timing, fuel etc is good. I try to buy Sunoco 93, ethanol, pump gas, but should be good with any premium pump gas. He labeled the tune as 91/93 octane. Might have to go out of state one day, where 93 is not available.
I lowered the front of the drivers seat, which improved the leg/knee room and helped overall.
I am getting used to the pedals. I keep my right foot against the foot box wall, which keeps it right for the throttle and out of the way for the braking.
Driving in gel coat is not too bad. I am enjoying it.
