Roadster Trunk Carpet

I am building a FFR roadster and have several of the delivered boxes
In a storage location. I can’t get to them for a few weeks. Can any tell me if trunk carpet is included with the complete MK4 package? If not - how many yards would it take for the standard trunk? Any recommendations?

Typically it is NOT part of the kit... I believe that FFR does sell a carpet kit or if not, I know you can buy the bulk carpet from them and on their site it tells you how much you should need.

Unless you specifically bought the trunk carpet kit (a somewhat recent available option) you don't have trunk carpet. Only for the cockpit. I've done a couple trunks from a pretty large piece I bought and still have some left. So can't give a precise answer based on my experience. Others have reported the trunk requires about 4 square yards.

Both responses are incorrect. You DO get trunk carpet. You get a one piece floor and two sides.You do not get the upper sides, The side pieces only cover the sides from the lower section to the rear. You would need two pieces of carpet about 8 inches by 25 inches long to complete the upper sections,

Hey Ron. So something has changed? Have certainly been wrong before and stand corrected if again. But my several Roadster kits did not include trunk carpet. The kit order information still says "Complete cockpit carpet set, black all-weather." Somewhat recently they offered Roadster Trunk Carpet #16672 which includes the parts you listed. In the past, several others have also said you needed to order the trunk carpet separately. Are you saying those pieces are now included with the kit?

I think its a newer addition. I picked one up a couple months ago and it came with carpet

It was included with the 25th Anniversary car that I have here.

I agree the truck carpet came in the last MK4 kit I built for a customer. I still added some more in the trunk. I buy extra from FFR and keep it on hand.

My MK4 came last August, it had the trunk floor carpet but no sides.
