View Full Version : Tangent Partial Steering Wheel Wrap
I know that Don is no longer making these. I had meant to purchase one a few years back, and kept putting it off. Well, now I'd like to do something like this, and was trying to connect with Eric, who had kind of taken over the operation at Tangent. His email address no longer works, and tangentkits.com is listed as a dangerous site when searching online.
Does anyone who did one of these kits keep the instructions, along with any pictures, so that I could possibly try to put one of these together for myself?

Here is what I'll do. I've got an original steering wheel wrap, from Tangent, that was never used, yet. I'll send it to you with the promise you'll send it back when finished evaluating and working to duplicate it. I still have the instructions stapled to the set. Just have to find it now. PM me with your address.

I'll PM you my address. If you do Paypal, let me know what it would cost to send it, and I'll pay that cost, and send it back as soon as I can get it duplicated. Shouldn't take more than an afternoon. This is above and beyond, but I should be getting used to this with our community by now!

You might be able to modify one of the covers from www.wheelskins.com

If no vendor is currently making these, it would be great if the templates and instructions could be shared with the group
Henry, I wasn't planning on selling them. Before I would, or could, ever even consider it, I would need to speak to Don or Eric from Tangent to get their approval. Otherwise I'm not sure it would be kosher.
Jdav, Kind of the same thing. It's not my kit to share. If I got the go ahead from the Tangent guys, that would be a different story.
I tried to contact Eric Schlosser from Tangent, but the email bounced back, so I'm not sure how to contact them. I may try a PM.

Thanks for understanding Henry. I've reached out to Eric, Tangent Kits, to see if he intends to offer these again, or if they have completely shut down their operation. Depending on if I hear back, and what their response is, may change the situation. I may be able to pursue this eventually. If it looks like it may happen, first I'll talk to Dave H., and then I'll come back to this thread, or start a new one.
