I am trying to remove the unnecessary wiring in the harness starting with the hot rod wiring and figured it would be best to remove the terminal in the connectors and remove the unnecessary wires.
The femals were easy but cant seem to get the below terminals out.

To be clear I am removing the terminal that is going into the dash harness were its fed from both the hot rod and fwd or aft harness. By removing the terminal I can cut the wore nearly in its entirety from the hot rod piece.

You need one of these tools. Those are Metripack pins. I am looking into this too and my hot rod harness is double landed on these pins. I might just cut the hot rod connector out and install butt splices to insulate and call it done. Or good excuse to buy a new tool and pins to re-do the harness....

are you going to use the terminal ends again? why don't you just cut the wires going into the terminal and then strip them out of the loom?
