What is this gunk?

So I'm using a GM connect and cruise package with the 4L75E transmission, I will be using a remote mounted cooler and will plumb it with AN fittings. So when I pulled the stock fittings out they are full of a pink goop about the consistency of toothpaste. Anyone else seen this or know what it is? I tried posting a picture, not sure if it worked though.

OK, I was able to contact Pace Performance and learned that this is likely some sort of assembly lube that would soften and allow coolant flow once the transmission is in service and gets up to operating temp.
