The Brake duct screen mesh; how do you guys attach them to the body?
Some photos will help.
I cut and trimmed them and used silicone to "stick" them in place. Not fancy, but it works.

Are yours the ones from FFR? Mine are wider, and much longer.
I epoxied some posts to the body and then safety wired the mesh to the posts.

I use Permatex Ultra Black RTV. Holds well plus dries to a flat black color that blends into the undercoat. Typically they need to be trimmed so there's maybe 3/8 - 1/2 inch of flat against the inside of the body.

Used GE Silicone sealer to hold them in place. They are also connected to my vent ducts & the oil cooler screen to my Frankenstein cold air intake.

Had two sets, one FFR & another from someone else but I cant remember who. I used the one with the fine mesh & still have the set with the more open mesh that looks like the one in Papa's picture.

As the FFR mesh didnˋt fit the brake duct opening at all, I made a simple tool of wood, with the same shape as the duct opening. Used the FFR mesh, and reshaped it.125829125830125831

The shape of the openings on the car in your pics is significantly different than any other FFR I've seen. Can you post some pics of the complete nose? It could just be an optical illusion with the camera angle.

125832Hi!
Yes, I think you are right regarding optical illusion Papa! But this is how it looks like!
