Ah, if I only had the time when I built mine to do that...
The panels look great. How much did it cost and was there any prep involved?

No prep for me. Line-X scuffed, taped, primed and shot the panels for $150.00.

I took my "elephant ears" to LineX, they shot them for $20. They look awesome. If I had to do it again, I woulda done what you did and coat the panels on the bottom too.

I have never heard of this stuff. Could someone please give us a bit of background about what it is and what it does? It looks kinda neat, but it seems to be more like truck bed liner...or am I mistaken?

That's exactly what it is, a spray-in truck bedliner. They heat this rubber stuff up real hot and spray it on, it cools pretty fast and is super durable. It also has a nice texture too.
