View Full Version : E-Brake Cable Routing

I've set up the e-brake cable routing, but I'm concerned with the way they lay along the edge of the seat belt mount as they come under the 4" tube. If I pull them away from the mount, then they get really, really close to the drive shaft.

Thoughts?

Thanks

John

Hi John

I recomend you to buy a new pair (Mustang GT -95, 2x left side), they are shorter so you can have them over the 4" tube and go directly to the front support near the e-brake handle.

I cut mine and installed threaded cable ends (on both e-brake cables and the cable from the e-brake handle) available from McMaster Carr and a "T" bar made from 3/8" pipe - works great!

The cable does not travel far when the handle is engaged. It should be ok. It will only rub a little.

Best regards,
