Hey all, thanks for allowing me to join. New owner of my first Cobra. Sorry, I did not build but have always wanted one and sold my 1966 mustang convertible to get this. Looking forward to learning from everyone.

Not sure what town you’re in, and how the car is registered, but watch out for the annual vehicle property tax. After 15 years on the road, they unethically raised mine to $1150!

Thanks for letting me know. I am from Old Saybrook, Connecticut and the property tax has been very fair. We will see. I am looking to get together with other cobra owners and share stories and have fun. During the crazy times I would like to learn more from the Masters and help to improve my experience. I have never owned a real hot rod and know it is not always rosy.

You’ve come to the right place, along with the other forum as well. Who knows what the future holds for gatherings and Open House, but always cool to have a fleet of cobra travel from CT to FFR. Hopefully it happens!
