Will drilling/bolting the breeze bar at the point marked interfere with the body?

It will probably be a problem. The breeze rollbar is removable because the third leg barely goes thru the body. The edge of the hole on mine is about 1/8 in from the end of the tube. Even then I can’t get the nut on the bolt, have to hold the nut and insert the bolt into it.
Best bet is wait until body is on correctly before drilling.

Perfect! Will do, thanks for the input. Seemed like it would be close.
As always, I appreciate the help.

I tried to keep the bolts hidden as much as possible. I made a bracket of sorts from two coupling nuts welded together, then welded them into the intermediate stub. Then two 3/8" bolts (If I remember right) hold it together.

One other note. I don't have a picture, but the two coupling nuts are spaced about 1/4 inch apart from each other (if I remember right, it could be a tad more), by welding them together on a small piece of 1/4 inch x ~3/8 x ~1 bar stock. That way the two coupling nuts weren't butting up side to side and end up too close to one another.

That's the right answer IMO. The location and angle of the bolt in that coupler is critical. Otherwise you'll have trouble getting it in, tightening, etc. The only way you're going to find the optimal way to drill is with the body on. Do it right once. I agree the location you are showing won't work.

Yes, as has been said you need to have the body on. The end of that upper tube just barely drops below the body. I’ve gotten 2 cars in that the owners didn’t plan ahead and wound up with that bolt above the body or conflicting with the grommet/trim ring. ALWAYS plan ahead!

I agree with the others, body on first.......but I am really surprised as the back leg of my Breeze roll bar extends nearly 2 inches below the body so I had no problem drilling holes???
As below I also drilled left to right as well.

I created the problem Jeff mentioned on my build, but in my case the bottom of my main hoop was about 1.5" above the floor of the trunk. I see that you have your main hoops all the way to the floor, in that case you should have plenty of clearance as you cannot move it down any more anyway. If you wanted to pre-drill the hole, I would go from left to right, not front to back, and you should be fine. I "fixed" mine by switching to a lower profile button head socket bolt, but part of the bolt is visible through the trim ring rubber. Go left to right, as low as you can on the rear leg, and you should be fine.
