I bought a Classic Performance brake proportioning valve, PV-24BH, for my roadster. I will be running 3/16 stainless lines front and rear. The connections on the valve are different sizes, 3/8-24, 7/16-24. 1/2-20 and 9/16-18. On the two biggest, and the 9/16 one in particular, the flare inside seems too large for the 3/16 line. I have fittings for 3/16 line for all connections, and the store i bought the valve from says i'll be fine using those, but i am hesitant, it doesn't look right. In the picture you can see where the tube flare has made a mark on the valve flare. I think i should find adapters to convert from the 1/2-20 IFF and 9/16-18 IFF connections down to 3/8-24 IFF Anyone have some advice for me?

Wouldn't use a 1/2-20 size fitting with the 3/16 line without an adapter between. Don't believe they make a 1/2-20 nut with a 3/16 hole for that size tubing.
I used valve P/N DER-PB212 - Approx $10 on Amazon. (Summit doesn't carry it) The valve is setup for 3/16 lines (3/8-24 fitting thread size - Standard thread for 3/16 line size).

Thanks for you reply. The valve you bought wouldn't work for me, as i need it also for the warning light switch. I suppose i'll just have to try to find some adapters to be sure. I was planning to buy a bunch of small stuff on my vacation in Florida in April, but thats obviously not happening now. Can't find this stuff over here very easily, i envy you Amazon Prime, makes life so much easier...
