It seems like not everyone knows how to add pictures on this site.
Here’s how you add pictures to a thread.
When you start a thread in the tool bar up top there is an icon in the shape of a projector screen. Press the icon

124685

It will pop up a screen where you can choose to use pictures from the web or from your computer. Click from your computer

124686

Click Choose your file and a box will appear. On a phone or IPad you can choose between taking a pic or choosing from your files

124687

When you pick a photo from files click on it then click done

124688

One more step to complete and that is click “upload files” on the bottom then wait until some thing like this appears on your screen

[ATTACH=CONFIG]124689

After you have added your text you can submit your thread.

Hope that helps someone

Be safe out there

Another way to do it so that the images are embedded in the thread post and use the image storage provided by the forum (no Photobucket fiascos down the road):

This approach can seem a bit cumbersome at first, but after you do it a few times, it's a piece of cake.

I use the photo hosting site Flickr. It's a pretty rich environment for organizing, documenting and sharing pictures. I share pics to forums by simply copy/paste the BBCode link from it's Share function. Here's a pic of a rare Daytona inspired kit car, the Banshee.
