While I'm fortunate to be able to continue working from home, it can get a little lonely. My 10-month-old miniature Dachshund has made it her mission to spend her day keeping me company.

Yep.... gotta quarantine with the progeny.
Colorado is now under state-wide stay-at-home order. I am lucky to be able to continue to work from home, but as a defense contractor working on a critical national defense project, I can be called back to the office if needed. I am so proud to be part of a company that is stepping up to do what it can in this crisis. A couple of examples:
We have a group of our engineers in California working with health facilities to retrofit up to 77,000 anesthesia ventilators to allow them to function as COVID-19 treatment ventilators.
Each employee in our 20+ thousand employee line of business is being given a certificate to be used to purchase a meal from any local restaurant that is trying to remain open using take-out. This is a two-fold effort to assist the employees as well as to try to help our local restaurants stay open.
One of our factories that works with textiles is converting over to produce the gowns used by medical personnel as part of their PPE.
The list goes on, but I wanted to share my pride in Lockheed Martin for it's response in this crisis and I know countless other companies and individuals are also doing what they can. This is what makes America what it is!

My US company based makes Medical test Equipment in one of the pictures from the CDC you can see one of our scanners in the background.
Although I work in IT (from home right now)... our production staff is on the list of critical workers.
I am proud to be made in America and supporting the effort even if it is remote.
