Hello All.
Anyone have some wiring pictures on the trinary switch and heater control valve. Not real clear on where the blue wire and white wire are coming from on page 75-79 in A/c installation manual. Any help would be appreciated. Truck body is at paint so finishing up the a/c without the cab on is a plus.

Hey Zach. I was confused by that also. Think both those wires came in the bag of ac parts and not from somewhere in the harness. I finally gave up on the instructions and just followed the wiring diagram and it all worked out. You have to look hard though because some of the wires change colors from one point to another on the diagram.

Ben,
Do you have that wiring diagram still? A/c work good? I am a Vintage Air guy myself, not sure on this French system.

Maybe we can get ours together at the fall Goodguys. If I do not sell mine first. I was going to bring my 67 C10 to Goodguys before they called it off

Its in the back of the AC installation instructions. PG 104. If not in your instructions message me with an email address and I'll send to you.

I did the Factory Five A/C & Heat installation in a Gen 3 Coupe. So obviously not the same build. But from the description sounds like a very similar setup. X2 on using the schematic versus the multiple pages of this color to that color wiring steps. I agree it's way easier to follow the schematic where you can kind of see how it's supposed to work. On mine, the blue wire connects the blue/red wire on the trinary switch to the RF green fan thermo switch. Grounds the RF fan thermo switch when the trinary switch closes turning on the radiator cooling fan. The white wire goes from the heater valve controller to the temp rheostat on the dash. Provides the clockwise voltage for the valve. All clear when you look at the schematic.
FWIW, my system is all wired and as of last week the A/C charged. Everything works as it's supposed to.
Check this, basically the black wire in series with AC clutch, this will close when pressure is in Range, not too low and not too high, otherwise will be open , the Blue used to Trigger fans, it will close only when pressure is high but not yet at limit and fans must turn on at high.
