FFR gives you a modern vacuum cap that is concealed inside the polished aluminum exterior of the LeMans Cap

can a passthru cap be used instead of a twist on/off?

I had one like this: https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Hagan-Replacement-Fuel-Cap,50078.html?sku=9100010&utm_medium=CSEGoogle&utm_source=CSE&utm_campaign=CSEGOOGLE&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuJi4_9iB6AIVC77ACh0DHgK0EAQYAiAB EgJbVfD_BwE on our MK-II for a bit. Had some issues with it not allowing the gas nozzle to auto-shutoff and got a lot of back-splash when I pulled the nozzle out of the filler. Went back to the standard "manual" style cap and haven't had a problem since.

But as they say......"Your mileage may vary."

I got the same thing from Breeze.

There is still snow on the ground here so I haven't actually used it yet, but I like the idea. It fits under the LeMans cap on my MKII with no interference.

The Breeze cap works great!
