I have the Moser 3 link rear end. Im reading the manual about dilling the lower control arm mount holes and it doesnt really tell you where to drill, just what size bit to use. Am I missing something? There has to be a special place to drill those holes for the traction lock brackets right? Anyone out there that can give me some advice?

You are simply enlarging holes that are already in the axle's mounts.

wow...too easy. Thats the problem of trying to figure things out by just looking at the manual and not having your stuff yet. Thanks Jeff.

I had wondered the same thing. 2 weeks ago when I was preparing the rear end for installation - I placed the brackets over the ones already on the housing - Sha Zammm - it fit only one way so I drilled there! How many days until you are home?

Make sure you have a powerfull drill, I just mounted all the brackets on my rear end and had smoke coming out of 3 seperate drills. My helper showed up the next day with a over powered beast that rocked threw the rest.

Must have been running them in reverse..lol

I never found enlarging those holes to be much of a problem? What kind of bit were you using?

Does any one have a pic of where they are drilled . I'm getting ready to do the rear end work and I'm not really sure where they are talking about. I have the moser rear end and the pic in the manuel looks like a place where I don't have any previous holes. Maybe I'm just feeble.

Well finished all suspension, and realized as we went deeper into the build that the holes to drill are not needed if you have your three link bracket welded to the rear end axle tube. So reading ahead before you actually get there is like listening to a conversation that you are not part of and hearing bits and pieces. All of a sudden I was done and said why do we need any holes?
