Am I misreading the manual or does FFR not specify anything to attach the upper part of the fender near the A-pillar? There is the hood-pin bracket right there that looks like it could have a mounting hole drilled into it. I would think it would need something to hold it firmly there so the hood gap stays correct. I've attached a picture of the area I am talking about.

That's right, you're supposed to drill a hole into that hood pin bracket the the fender rests on. I used some fender washers and 40 mil vinyl to cushion the fiberglass against that perch. I'd suggest first bolting the bottom of the fender in place and positioning the hood in the right spot. The edges of the hood will need a little trimming (if they're anything like mine) for the top of the hood to be flush with the fenders.

You drill a hole through the fender into the upright support where I have indicated. I installed a rivnut into the metal support so the fender could be easily removed when ever needed.

The fastener is hidden when you install the hood.

Thanks! I thought so, seemed too obvious to not be the case, but I'm almost certain the manual doesn't mention it anywhere and I thought was strange FFR didn't go ahead and waterjet the hole into the mount.
