So over the weekend I held up the rear fenders to the body. Fitment into the recess in the body wasn't too bad. However, they seem twisted so that the outer rear corner is more rearward than the rest of the fender. How did you work around or fix this? Will it "disappear" when I trim them? (I wasn't planning on being super aggressive with the trimming).
In the picture the rear of the fender is at the top

Thanks for the help

Hey Steve, so here is what I found with mine, when I fit the body with the wheels on I did not see an issue. Then removed the wheels and added in the fenders, they can only go in one spot because of all the funky curves you don't see. When I placed the fenders on and set the car down I realized that the right side was narrower by 1/2" than the left side. The left side sat perfect but I needed to "modify" the right side to align correctly with the side of the tire and sit properly in the wheel well.
122775 122776 You can see the difference in the measurement and the edge distance from the side of the tires
Another item that cam up later was that the shocks were wrong and the car was too low which accentuated this. New shocks from FFR and that was resolved however this did not mitigate that issue.
122780 You can see how more uniform the wheel sits in the wheel well, the car does not look like its squatting down like many others I have seen (I may be just too picky)
122777 So to fix the issue I mounted the fender, marked exactly where the edge of the body was and then cut a slit in it, opened it up, locked it in, glassed it shut and then cleaned it up for finishing.

Not sure this is the same issue as you have however, when I made the mod the left and right side were very similar in look, then I cut it to the look I wanted as seen here!

Thanks Andreas. Very helpful even though it wasn't quite what I was referring to. I better take some more measurements and the like to see if mine have that issue as well. Will post another pic tomorrow which hopefully better explains what I was originally inquiring about.
