I'm installing the exhaust pipes on my '35 truck. I have the headers and header gasket installed, and I have the square flange gaskets but no diamond-shaped, 2-hole gaskets for the flanges between the pipes. Do I need them? It seems like I would need gaskets between the flanges throughout the entire exhaust system.

I don’t have any gaskets listed on the list of parts delivered with the kit.

Yes, you need gaskets at every flange. The only place they are not needed is at ball/socket connections.
I did buy extra gaskets, think it was from Jeg's. At flange from the BBK collector I used a spacer and 2 gaskets to get the down pipe to clear the fame on my 33.

Thanks for the great info! I never worked on an exhaust system, but figured as much. And I wasn't really sure what to do with the spacer...thanks for that bit of info too. I think I may have to do the same to clear the firewall.

Thanks much!
