Once assembled on the hood, what captures the duck feet when the hood is closed? And shouldn’t there be keys with the latches? I have none.

Aluminum Angle mounted just under the lip of the body is all you need to create.
Lots of folks give it a little notch so that you don't have to lock the hood to keep the latches oriented properly.
Hope this helps.

There are aluminum "L" brackets about 1 1/2" long that river/screw on under the hood flange. Yes, you should have gotten keys but just have a copy made of another owners---the hood and trunk latches are all keyed alike and have been for years!

Ok. Found the aluminum pieces. Thanks. I’ll check for the keys

Made some out of 1" angled aluminum and bonded some studs to bottom of the body to attach them. Notching out the bottom allows you to turn the hood latches inward toward the middle of the car to open. Given the angle of the bracket you can't open them outward. Please with the way it turned out. I have some photos in my build threat of the brackets.
