so long story but here is short
i bought base kit and was using sn 95 spindles with the spindle adapters that ffr sent with kit
all parts went together fine and did not know of any issue till i went to install wheels ,
they hit ball joint after a call to ffr i was informed that spidle adatpers were not correct
for gen 3 and that i should use there spindles. great they are shipping set out and hope
to have today ,now the problem is while removing old spindle pickle fork to break loose
done this a 1oo times the lower ball joint falls out of lower conrtoll arm .im not sure if i should
press it back in or call ffr since i was not using enough force that should have caused lower
ball joint to fall out of control arm ,im afraid somthing might be out of tolerance
i could press back in and weld but that would be another issue if i had to change joint out later

any advice

thanks

Try pressing it back in, I would not weld. If the pressing does not work, call FFR, the ball joint should not fall out like that

You may get a pretty good feel for it when pressing it back in, just how much pressure the pickle fork actually created, when hammered on.

If it seems to press back in easy, with very little pressure exerted, then you may want to look at getting a replacement.

Those ball joints are really cheap. If you think you damaged, just replace. Not worth taking a chance.
