I went for a short go cart ride to the end of the cul-de-sac and back. I parked the car in the driveway and went in for lunch. When I came back I had a large spot under may car.
Between the trans and motor there was a pretty good spot, it has not leaked a drop until today.
I cleaned up the driveway too quick to determine if it was coolant or oil. Top of the engine and bell housing are dry.
I’ll have to let it run for a while tomorrow and try and narrow it down, hopefully something simple.

If it is oil you should still see it on the driveway!

Oil or Coolant?
Engine?
New , Donor or Re-built?

It’s a new crate engine. I put it up on jacks and ran it for 20 minutes, not a drop. I’m thinking since this happened after my longest go cart ride, about 1 minute, maybe it was from an earlier coolant leak.

That would be an excessive amount of oil to not notice residue on the bottom of engine or transmission. I’m guessing your coolant overflow tank is where came from.

+1 The FFR provided tank may be a bit small for the job.

+2 ON THE COOLANT OVERFLOW!
I had to go with a bigger tank than what was provided to me by Factory Five.
I may even got larger still because I've had it dump coolant if I don't let the fan run a while after driving.

On one of my first few short trips with my second generation Coyote, I noticed a small drip of coolant on the floor. After investigating, I discovered that one of the Chinese quick connect plastic fittings supplied by FFR for the heater crossover hose was not sealing properly. The coolant was seeping past the fitting and finding it's way down the front of the block, ending up on the floor. After replacing those cheap fittings, I have had no other leaks.
