I know this has been covered by others but thought I would bring it up again. I started the reg process on Long Island NY and am looking for suggestions for insurance carriers

That one made me laugh.

Okay, I’ll say it, I like Hagerty. A bit more per year, but they picked my car up when my clutch cable broke. No cost and they checked on me multiple times to make sure I got home okay. I like their magazine and daily news letters too.

Hagerty, but you have to complete a High Performance Driving Resume. They were not joking even though it made me laugh. The part I thought was crazy, was how they didn't consider my 2018 GT350 high performance enough!

(Yes, and was approved, in case you were wondering.)

That is crazy, how did you know the GT350 didn't qualify? Did you get your spouse insured? Mine was denied:o

Was it the car? Or was it that you haven't done high performance driving with it? Have you had that car on track, autocross, or to a high performance driving course? Owning a car, no matter what it is, and driving it on the street has little to do with high performance driving.
