Coil over question

Started putting my suspension together today and found that all 4 coil overs are the same length. All 4 boxes have the same part number and the shocks are all identical. Just over 15" eye to eye when extended. Book says the rears should be 2.5" longer. I called FFR but the techs were busy and I did not get a call back today so while I wait I thought I'd ask the group. Should I have 2 different sizes?

I asked FFR on mine and they said it was a type O.
