Anyone have issues with fit of front firewall panels? Especially around the pedal box!

I don't remember having any major issues with that aluminum. My bracket for the pedals was a little warped so I had to shim it. In general though, I find that I need to finesse most of the aluminum panels. They don't always fit perfectly.

And while you are doing the front aluminum you may want to fast forward a bit to the 2 aluminum pieces that make up the back splash guard for the front wheels (you'll see that recommendation a lot...it is really helpful). There are two pieces that are hard to get to with the suspension and steering column in place. Drill them now but don't rivet. You can see the details on post 110 in my build thread https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?31093-Massachusetts-818C-build/page3 This will also help you avoid putting your clutch and brake lines in a bad spot and remind you to keep your cooling tubes in board from the edge of the frame.
