KRC Power Steering Pulley setup for Ford 302

I've searched and found prior KRC power steering threads and noted that most folks are running a 4.2" pulley.

I queried KRC below and note that they are saying a max rpm of 6500.

With a 6" crank pulley and the 4.2" pulley I could see turning that pump 8000 rpm pretty easily.

Any advice?

I’m considering # ESP 18620111 for my Ford 302.

It has a 6” crank pulley (serpentine) and I wanted to be sure that the 4.2” pulley that comes with your kit will be correct.

Also, what is the max rpm of your pump?

A lot depends on what you are going to do with this car.Also what kind of rpms you intend to run this engine.

We recommend not turning the pump above 6500 rpms sustained.

Now I do- thanks- parts ordered but I may switch to smaller crank pulley.
