ISO: Low Profile Oil Pan Drain Plug (93 Mustang 5.0).

Does anyone know where to find a low profile drain plug for a 1993 mustang? I think it’s a 1/2-20 plug. My drain plug hangs just a little lower than I’d like.

Here is an example of what I’ve seen, just havnt found the right size.

Re-tap your oil pan thread to a 3/8 NPT. Then use a 3/8 NPT recessed allen drive pipe plug.

It's as low profile as it gets. Nothing will hang below the pan.
