I’m running the cables for the E-brake with the Wilwood brake upgrade. There is a plastic clip holding the end in the transmission tunnel, but nothing holding the sheath near the caliper. It looks like a retaining clip should be there holding it. Am I missing something?

There's no clip called out or in my experience necessary. The sheath/cable is stiff and under a bit of tension. When anchored to the Wilwood caliper, it's not going anywhere. Three seasons and 6,000+ miles on my 20th Anniversary Roadster with this setup.

Thanks Paul. Seemed odd and it clearly has a recess on the end of the sheath to put a C-clip of some form. I'll move on!
I added e-clips on mine. I think they were 1/2 inch. Maybe not needed, but can't hurt. I bought this assortment on Amazon:
Neiko 50455A E Clip Assortment Set, 300 Piece Kit | Heat Treated Steel Retaining Rings | 1/16" - 7/8-Inch Sizes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000K7GRDW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-HCkEb0W451FM

The cables are the same regardless of caliper type. From the factory, the mustangs had the cables installed on the rear end, and would fall out of the caliper before installation in the car. They had clips so the sheath would not come loose when hooking up the front. They were only there for that reason, or they would fall out of the caliper going down the line. They are not needed for the operation of Parking brake. As stated above the cables or sheath never move if the cables are even remotely snug.
Not that anybody needed to know, but there is also no need for a rush on e clips, LOL. HTH, Richard.

But I just told my broker to go long on Amalgamated E-clips stock!

I hope you weren't planning to retire on that -- two clips per roadster ain't gonna add up to much.
