New Mk4 Roadster Tire Size?

I’ve seen a lot of different posts about Mk4 Roadster tire sizes, with most landing on the rears as 315x30 ZR18 but with multiple options on the fronts, from 245, 255 and even 275’s. Can I get a recommendation on the front tires please... will 275x40 ZR18 fit?
