Had the Bendpak HD9 installed today, and I'm thrilled with not having to be on my back under this thing anymore! I got a bridge jack to get the wheels off the runways if needed.

Hope I don't have to use it for anything major anytime soon, but just maintinance work and fiddling is going to be sooo much nicer.

That is so awesome. Nice setup with lots of space. Clean too. Basically everything my garage is not!

You'll be surprised how useful that lift will be.

Awesome. I also went with the HD9. Great lift. My only issue is that the front two posts (closer to the ramps) wobble a bit. Does yours? Reaching out to my installer to have a look at it. The rear posts don't move at all.

rsw81, my HD9 wobbled a bit as I didn't anchor it due to using the caster kit to move it around the shop and outside. Didn't hurt anything and was stable when a vehicle was on it. When in the down position the cross heads sit on the floor taking weight off the posts. If not anchored to the floor they will wobble a bit -- nothing to worry about.

I have a larger four-post I use for my F550 and had to anchor it as that heavy truck would cause the lift to skid across my epoxy floor rather than climb the ramps. Once anchored to the floor the lift is stable even without weight on it.

I was limited on height so I decided to go with a MaxJax. 110v, portable and self install. I got a great deal and so far love it

Can I ask why you have Jack posts near each one of your max Jax post

Nothing to do with the lift it is a garage construction thing.

My thought was to keep the roof from falling in on top of the car, lift and everything else inside the garage.

I like everything about my lift with two exceptions:

1. After the posts are leveled, the low-profile arms sit up off the sloped floor and I have to jack the car in the front to get the arms under the pipes.
2. Positioning the car so the arms hit the right spots on the narrow roadster frame is a PITA. I plan to paint some marks on the floor one of these days so I can tell if the car is in the right position before jacking it and getting the arms under it only to find I need to move the car over an inch.

My only regret is that I didn't get it earlier in the build.

I got my 4 post lift installed a couple months ago. It has a bridge jack. My life is complete.

Yeah, mine wobbles with the chassis on the lift and I'm trying to tighten bolts. It's unnerving but hasn't gone anywhere. With the chassis in a roller at this point, it can't be more than 500-600 lbs of car on there yet. Mine is not bolted to the floor. Now that I know the current position is it's final position, perhaps bolting it down is warranted.
