Hello!
Looking through here, it appears not many of you are using an FE engine in your car. Any of you that I haven't see doing so?

There are some out there but they are definitely in the minority. My friend Al Adkins ("Raceral") built his second roadster with an FE and completed it a year or so ago. You'll find his posts and some pics with a search. It is a beautifully done car!

I build mine using a 390 FE and have been driving it since 2016 with about 17000 miles logged so far

Joe, I post infrequently, but am completing a build using an FE with a Toploader, 2-4’s, T-Bird IRS, conventional alternator/separate voltage regulator, hydraulic clutch, pin drive, etc.
Let me know if any details of my approach can be helpful. Although it’s not completed, I have had it running.

just as a new guy that doesn't know about engines . . . what is an FE engine? iron block? or a style like LS for Chevys? thanks, Jake

My friend Donnie (Hottrodder427) did an FE powered MK-4 with an IRS rear.
Shown below is his album:

The FE really looks like it belongs in the engine bay more so than any other engine in my opinion.

I’m putting a FE in my car. I’m hoping to start building the engine within the next couple months.
