One year ago tomorrow. Car was to arrive on MLK day but Stewart driver got stuck in bad weather outside Buffalo. I received a call the night before and had to scramble to arrange for time off work in the midday to accept the delivery. It was freezing with snow and ice on the ground and ended up shutting down a lane of traffic on a semi busy 2 lane road in front of my house for an hour. We called local police who sent a cruiser who parked behind the truck with its lights on to help direct traffic.
Stressful situation to say the least. Fast forward a year and I have a rolling chassis. Currently working on electric and reassembling my motor. Hoping to have first start soon! Thanks for all the support on this forum and the other one. 120908

Mine was purchased as an unfinished build so not exactly the same photos as a new build but equally exciting. Came as a roller with the body and other panels loosely on for transport.

Mk1 (which weren't really Mk anything) were white, blue or gray depending on vintage, Mk2 were gray, early Mk3s were white but soon switched to black, Mk4s are red.
