Center Console

Looking to upgrade/Enhance my center console on my roadster. Ideally would need a console that is wide enough for a normal size stereo

I have been making one myself this past month, if you want the idea. It will hold any normal width non CD stereo. The console is just not deep enough for a CD depth, head unit.

I have 2 extra sides made out of 1/4 plywood if you want them to use, or use as a template. All you would need is a front piece which I made from .40 aluminum. With a bend at top and bottom for rigidity.
I engineered it to be able to have the whole thing disassembled without removing the dash or tunnel cover, but it is locked to the tunnel cover with .40 aluminum L-brackets, and another set of brackets riveted to the back wall.

Another option is Whitby motorcars has a console made of 3 pieces of aluminum very similar to the shape I made, but it still looks like you have to figure out how to mount and support it.

Thank you for the reply. I actually decided to build one on my own and wrap it with 3M 1080 carbon vinyl. Came out really good.
