I've decided to add a heater/defroster to my roadster. The firewall is not installed yet. The heaters are out of stock at FFR. Are there any third party sources you can recommend? Summit? Jegs? etc.
Thanks!

Hey Caddy Dad, take a look at: vintageair.com or northracecars.com - they ust might have what you're looking for?

Vintageair makes a small compact heater, it supplies more than enough heat.

Had a vintage air heater for many years, but was never really satisfied.
Couple of years ago, pulled it out and installed seat heaters.
Seat heaters are easier to install , cheaper to buy, invisible, and warmer.

The heater that FFR Sent me was a Vintageair heater.

Most folks simply buy the Factory Five unit.

In addition, lots of guys who live up North will install Seat Heaters so you may want to look at that option too.
For the record I did build my own but it only heats my wife's side of the car, but I live in the Deep South near New Orleans and didn't want and/or need a heater anyway.
My.."Happy Wife Happy Life Heater"..is a Jeep CJ3 core mounted below the foot box power vent that uses a manual heater control valve to put the heat on her feet.

I like the way you rigged up your heater. I like the way you think.

I have a FF supplied Heater/Defroster kit I have decided not to install. So I'm willing to sell it. PM me if you are interested in it and we can work something out.
